Saudi Arabia Begins Accepting Umrah Visa Requests from June 10"

Saudi Arabia has officially launched the process of Umrah visa applications by marking the beginning of the new Umrah season by Tuesday, June 10. As the Hajj season of this year effectively and safely ends, now the first group of International pilgrims of Umrah are expected soon to land at Saudi Arabia

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the cities of Mecca and Medina are ready to welcome foreign pilgrims beginning June 11. The ministry confirmed that the issue of visa issuance began on June 10 (corresponding to 14 Dhul-Hijah 1446AH). All licensed Umrah operators and international agents needed to finalize their agreement by May 27 (29 Dhul-Qadah 1446 AH).

After the successful implementation of a comprehensive system, which simplified the journey of more than 1.6 million people for HAJ 1446 AH, preparations are now underway for the upcoming Umrah season with Islamic Year 1447 AH (2025).

The ministry is expected this week of more announcements, including details of pilgrimage logistics, travel protocols and guidelines related to health requirements.
