Whether Muslim or Non-Muslim, it is obligatory to maintain good relations with Neighbor. When ever you cook something special, send some portion to neighbor without fail.

Islam teaches that the poor deserve dignity and compassion. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry." (Sahih)
