We have been following the news of Indore couple who went missing in Meghalaya. This is again an example of how criminals think that they are smarter than police. And they can fool the police easily. The couple named Raja Raghuvanshi (29) and Sonam Raghuvanshi (27) were married on 11th May 2025. They went on honeymoon to Meghalaya and went missing on May 23rd. On May 24th, the police finds an abandoned scooter which was used by the couple. On June 2nd, 2025 Raja Raghuvanshi dead body was recovered by the police. On June 9th, Sonam Raghuvanshi surrendered in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Police arrests another 3 accused in raids.
Murder Plot: It is suspected that Sonam Raghuvanshi was having an affair with her colleague Raj Kushwaha, who was manager in the firm owned by her father. Both Raj and Sonam planned to kill Raja Raghuvanshi before marriage itself and show to the world that it was an accident. Once widowed, Sonam will not have much pressure for remarriage from the family.
Raj Kushwaha has helped Sonam to hire 3 contract killers (Akash, Vishal and Anand) and they arrived in Meghalaya on 22nd, a day before Raja was killed. The killers reportedly befriended Raja as they were Hindi speaking and were travelling along with them. After finding a suitable place, where no one was around. Sonam commanded the killers to kill Raja Raghuvanshi.
She later travelled to Indore and stayed at a rented place. Knowing that the suspects were being arrested by the police. She travelled to Ghazipur and surrendered to the police. She again tried to play the drama that she was kidnapped and she didn't know how she arrived here.

(ii) Police can track to whom calls were made from the location. In Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, police has tracked call records of people who called from Meghalaya to Indore. And police got the phone numbers of even culprits.
(iii) Further, using call history, police can track the people with whom culprits are in contact touch.
(iv) Even if you don't use the phone, the CCTV cameras present around help police to track your movement.
