Tragedy Strikes: Air India Flight Crashes After Takeoff from Ahmedabad to London

In a devastating incident, an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport. The ill-fated flight, was carrying 232 passengers and 10 crew members, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Eyewitness footage shows the aircraft flying unusually low and struggling to gain altitude before plummeting to the ground and erupting into a massive fireball at 1:38 PM,. The jet, fully fueled for its international journey, exploded on impact, leaving behind a scene of utter devastation.
According to a statement by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the aircraft was commanded by Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, a seasoned pilot with 8,200 flight hours, alongside First Officer Clive Kundar, who had logged 1,100 hours. A Mayday distress call was issued moments before the crash.
