Chapter 103: Surah Al-‘Asr (سورة العصر)
Meaning: Time/ The Declining Day | Has 3 Verses | Revealed In: Mecca (Makki Surah)
1. وَالْعَصْرِ
By the time,
2. إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
Indeed, mankind is in loss—
3. إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
Except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, encourage one another to truth, and encourage one another to patience.
