These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Muslims Forum For Peace. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

1. New Member Rules

   1. New members need to post at least one post to become an approved member #
   2. New members cannot post links in their first 10 posts. This is to avoid spam on the forum. #
   3. Approved members can post links but cannot use signature link (signature link helps promote your work or business) #
   4. Verified users can post links and add signature (allowed two links in signature) #

2. Adhere to Islamic Etiquette

   1. Speak kindly, respectfully, and truthfully at all times. #
   2. Avoid mockery, sarcasm, and insults. #
   3. Respect the diversity of cultures within the Muslim Ummah. #

3. No Sectarianism or Divisive Content

   1. This forum is non-sectarian and adheres to the Quran and authentic Sunnah. #
   2. Do not promote or insult any sect, group, or ideology. #
   3. Discussions should aim to educate and unify, not divide. #

4. Authenticity Matters

   1. Share only authentic Islamic knowledge with clear references (Quran, Sahih Hadith, or trusted scholars). #
   2. Avoid posting unauthenticated hadiths, religious innovations (bid'ah), or personal fatwas. #
   3. If unsure, ask before sharing. #

5. No Political Propaganda

   1. Do not promote political parties, figures, or nationalist agendas. #
   2. The focus here is on Islamic education, brotherhood, and community support. #

6. Respect Scholars and Differences of Opinion

   1. Respect the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah and scholarly differences within accepted boundaries. #
   2. Avoid takfir (declaring someone a non-Muslim) or personal attacks on scholars. #

7. Avoid Harmful or Inappropriate Content

   1. No hate speech, profanity, or indecent language. #
   2. No images, videos, or links that contain nudity, music, or violence. #
   3. Absolutely no promotion of extremist, radical, or unlawful activity. #

8. Privacy & Safety

   1. Do not share personal contact details publicly. #
   2. Respect the privacy of other members. #
   3. Report any suspicious or harmful behavior to moderators immediately. #

9. Moderation & Warnings

   1. Moderators may edit, delete, or move posts that violate the rules. #
   2. Repeated violations may lead to warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban. #
   3. All actions are taken to protect the harmony and purpose of the forum. #
