Fake News : Did Morocco ask it's people to donate money to Palestine instead of celebrating Eid Ul-Adha

Islam does not permit spreading of fake news. It's a major sin in Islam. "O you who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance and become regretful for what you have done." [Qur'an 49:6]

Morocco has banned slaughtering of animals on Eid Ul adha. Some people are sharing the news saying that it's to support Palestine. We have done a thorough research and found out that Morocco has banned slaughtering because of severe drought.
